ASL1000 visual ATE Applications
Software Development, System Operating Environment and Instrument Cards
The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the software, system operating environments, and seven of the available instrument cards. This is accomplished by a combination of lectures and lab exercises and online learning materials. Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to: generate Test Functions, assemble Test Programs, debug test code, and understand the basic functions of the MUX, DVI, OVI, TMU, PV3, ACS, and DDD instruments. Students must complete the online pre-course before attending the class. Login information for the online materials will be emailed upon confirmation of registration.
Duration: Five days, including classroom and practical exercises.
ASLx visualATE 7 Applications
Software Development, System Operating Environment and Instrument Cards

The visualATE 7 Applications – DDP Digital training course provides comprehensive introduction to the Dynamic Digital subsystem of the ASLx test system. It enables attendees to work comfortably in the visualATE software tools, user interface, and programming instructions to create digital tests, and control sequences. This course applies to ASLx test systems using the DDP digital subsystem.

Diamond10 Basic Applications
Software Development and System Operating Environment
This course introduces students to the Diamond10 software development and system operating environment. This is achieved through a combination of lectures, lab exercises, and online learning materials. The class covers Visualize, Stil, Pattern, Waveform, ITE (Integrated Test Environment), and Shmoo tools. After completing this class, students will be able to develop and debug digital test programs for ICs using the Diamond10 system. Students must complete the online pre-course before attending the class. Login information for the online materials will be emailed after registration.

This Unison Digital Applications training course provides a broad base of skills within the Unison programming environment and forms a strong foundation for future applications courses. As such, the course covers DC and digital instruments. It enables attendees to work comfortably with the Unison user interface and program the typical instrument set using Unison Test Language (UTL) instructions. The Unison PAx Applications training course introduces the use of the PAx test system for testing RF devices such as a Power Amplifiers, RFFEM. As such, the course covers a range of instruments including the RF subsystem DragonRF, baseband waveform generators, digitizers, DC instruments, and digital instruments. It enables attendees to work comfortably in the Cohu Unison user interface and program the typical instrument set using Unison test language instructions.

PAx Unison Applications (Virtual Learning)

This Virtual Learning (VL) Unison PAx Applications training course introduces students to the Unison Software development and system operating environment. For High Volume RF PA/FEM, 5G and Mobility Devices
The PAx with ThorRF Applications training course introduces the use of the PAx test system for testing high power RF devices such as switches and tuners. As such, this course covers a range of instruments including the DragonRF combined with the ThorRF sub-system, baseband waveform generators, digitizers, DC instruments and digital instruments. It enables attendees to work comfortably in the Cohu Unison user interface and program the typical instrument set using Unison Test Language instructions.

X-Series Mixed Signal Applications - DDP
Mixed Signal Testing Knowledge
The Mixed Signal Applications – DDP Digital training course provides a broad base of mixed signal testing knowledge and forms a strong foundation for future applications courses. As such, the course covers a range of instruments including DC, digital, DSP and RF. It enables attendees to work comfortably in the Cohu enVision user interface and program the typical instrument set using Cadence instructions. This course applies to X-Series CX and PAx test systems utilizing the DDP digital subsystem.

The Mixed Signal Applications – FX Digital training course provides a broad base of mixed signal testing knowledge and forms a strong foundation for future applications courses. System Operating Environments and Maintenance Procedures
This course provides a comprehensive overview of the ASLx test system hardware. The course focuses on preventive maintenance procedures and troubleshooting activities needed to ensure maximum system uptime. The class is presented as a combination of classroom lectures and lab exercises.
Duration: Two days, including classroom and practical exercises.
Diamondx Maintenance
System Operating Environments and Maintenance Procedures
The Diamondx maintenance training course provides a comprehensive overview of the hardware available in the test system. The course focuses on the preventative maintenance procedures needed to ensure maximum system uptime. This course covers the operation of the diagnostic interface, hardware functionality, and preventative maintenance procedures applicable to the test system. The attendees will become confident in navigating through the user interface and accessing the functions of Unison which help in the calibration and maintenance. Execution of the instrument families associated checker, verification, and calibration programs will be explained. Attendees will also be provided with access to systems to ensure they are comfortable and confident in performing the preventative maintenance activities necessary to achieve the maximum reliability.

Diamond10 Maintenance
System Operating Environments and Maintenance Procedures
This course introduces the student to the system operating environment and maintenance procedures for the Diamond10 test system. This is achieved through a combination of lectures and lab exercises. Upon completion of the course, the student is able to remove and replace test head instruments, alter the test head configuration, use SMC and other related software to verify the test head instruments, perform preventive maintenance and remove and replace the system’s DC power supply.
Duration: One days, including classroom and practical exercises.
PAx Maintenance

The PAx Maintenance training course provides a comprehensive overview of the hardware available in the test system. The course focuses on the preventative maintenance procedures and troubleshooting activities needed to ensure maximum system uptime. Execution of the instrument families associated checker, verification, and calibration programs will be explained.
