High-Performance Strip Test Handler

SH-5300™ high-performance strip handler for testing advanced semiconductor packages, LEDs, MEMS sensors, and traditional ICs. It can handle a vast array of strip and laminate lead-frame sizes. Capable of tri-temp testing -55˚C to +160˚C and ambient testing to +160˚C.

High-Performance Strip Handler

The SH-5300 strip test handler is available in two configurations; field-proven universal tri-temp and low-cost, ambient-only.

The SH-5300 can handle the new high-density lead frames that are 100 mm x 300 mm in size.

The SH Series are highly flexible and are capable of handling virtually any leaded IC package in strip format, including SOIC, TSOP, TSSOP, MSOP, WFP, TQFP, SOT and pocket-molded QFN packages. It is also capable of handling block-molded QFN packages, Chip Scale Packages (CSP’s), Chip Array, Ball Grid Array, μBGA and other over-molded devices on laminated panels or strips if the devices are electrically isolated.

The SH Series strip handlers are Individual Device Traceability (IDT) compatible. IDT requirements are critical for most automotive, mobility, and industrial applications.

The equipment is designed to comply with S2-93 and CE directives.

Strip-to-strip index time; <3.5 secs, Intra-strip max. index time <350 msec. MTBF >200 hours.



Temperature

Full tri‐temp range ‐55°C to +160°C, with optional chiller to run COLD. Conduction thermal system with virtually zero soak time limitation.  Temperature accuracy +/- 2°C. Ambient only option available.



Loader/Unloader

Stacked Magazine Input and Output or Slotted Cassette Input and Output, accommodating either Stacked Machines (for SO and TSSOP style strips) or Slotted Cassettes (for BGA and Strips with fragile devices that cannot be stacked).



Optional Reject Mark Laser

All parts are marked good in assembly and test rejects are marked after test, but still on the handler’s test chuck, using a built-in laser marker. This method improves quality and eliminates the need for a standalone laser marker thus saving costs.



Fast Conversion and Exchange

Extremely fast and easy kit conversion less than 20 minutes.



GUI Interface
